Tiga pulu empat
If you read Kro's blog, you probably know about the new workstation the bandits' bought. What you probably didn't know was how we managed to get it.
The Roland Juno-G is £849, which is about BND$1900.

So basically me and Kro will be paying about £40 each, for the next 10 months to the store we bought it from. Not too bad.
Music in the flesh
Brunei has a couple pro music equipment retailers, but no where near as exciting as the ones in the UK. Music stores in Europe generally try to cater for the blooming market of home/bedroom studios, where affordability and quality go hand in hand. If one wanted to look for a quick laptop recording solution, they'll be spoilt for choice on condensor microphones, usb interfaces, monitor speakers, headphones etc.
The workstation keyboard is the single most expensive thing Micbandits've bought (sidenote: the portable aircond is peanuts compared to this). But it's money well spent!
