Tiga puluh lima
A poem i wrote back in high school. Hmm, must be something to do with lost innocence. I forget. Enjoy.

"Forever search - forever find"
I listen to the merchant's tale
"A new found home should ours decline
For now's the time to set your sails."
"Assign your ports where you see fit
And men shall trade upon your shores
And they shall say - 'Lo, this is it!'
So take their tributes - they are yours."
"You prosper as the day goes by
And share whatever wealth received
Away from men who ill advise
Away from kings and kings deceived."
"A word of caution to those who go:
Let not the riches let you rot."
I ask the merchant how he knows
"Mashallah, how could I have not?"
-
I look towards the blood red sky
As I travel these enchanting seas.
Forever search - forever find
Tranquility, oh forgive me.
